ATMOSPHERIC SIMULATION SYSTEM

At the Institute of Natural Science (BOKU) in the University of Vienna we have designed, constructed and installed a laboratory for the conducting of experiments under special atmospheric conditions. A variety of Earth atmospheres can be simulated in this atmospheric simulation system. In addition, extreme values of temperature, gas composition and pressure can be generated. After initialisation, the programme runs automatically. Data is recorded and stored in the new atmospheric simulator at BOKU. A complex gas mixing system is integral part of the atmospheric simulation system.
