WATER CONTENT OF COFFEE
A true water content online measurement during running production of coffee is often difficult and complex. The measurements are usually only possible via sampling. Due to the high equipment complexity, it is often impossible to measure at the critical points in the system. Simultaneous measurements at different locations (eg silo, mill, intermediate storage) are often difficult to realize for cost reasons. The comparability of the water content values from the roaster over the silos and the mill to the packaging is often difficult because different measuring methods are used and a Direct conversion of the water content is problematic.
