TRACE MOISTURE SENSORS

The Federal Institute of Materials Research and Testing in Berlin co-operates closely with industry. Safety checks are carried out throughout numerous test laboratories. Research projects are also conducted in conjunction with industry.

In conjunction with dr. wernecke Feuchtemesstechnik GmbH a measurement station for trace moisture sensors has been established. Trace moisture sensors must be tested for suitability, accuracy and reliability. A gas mixing generator generates dew points up to -70 °C. Several sensors can be connected to the test station for testing. A dew point mirror is connected as a reference hygrometer. The setting of different moisture measurement values as well as the recording of measurement data is carried out automatically.
